DBSA is a Data Base Schedule Analyzer designed to solve schedule classification tasks typically studied in an advanced database course. It can be used by students as well as by teachers to verify their exercises and create variants thereof.
DBSA features a simple schedule editor and several checkboxes that activate different types of schedule serializability analyses, including view-serializability (VSR), conflict-serializability (CSR), two-phase locking (2PL), and timestamp (TS) ordering. The results consist of a summary of the selected classification analyses, along with detail views reporting specific explanations for each single classification.
